If you've never practiced yoga before, Rishikesh is a magical destination. Located in northern India, this city is a spiritual, meditative haven. The Ganga flows through the city, giving it a special energy. A meditation class near the Ganga is an incredible experience, as is dipping your feet in its waters. The city's three lakes, Ram, Lakshman, and Gomukh, are divided by the River Ganga.

Travel to Rishikesh is a wonderful experience. Not only can you practice yoga tour in a picturesque location, but you'll learn more about the philosophy of yoga as you explore the town. You'll also enjoy sightseeing and a lecture. You'll also have the opportunity to explore the city's most famous holy site, Vashist Gufa. This cave is a sacred site for transcendental meditation. The evening program will end with a therapeutic lecture and a chanting session.

After your flight from Delhi, you'll be transferred to a luxurious hotel. At the hotel, you'll receive an introduction to the yoga teacher and participate in a yoga class that will include stretching, breathing, and relaxation exercises. Later that evening, you'll take part in a traditional meditation class. This is followed by a traditional Ganga Aarti ceremony, a ritual dedicated to the Goddess of the river Ganga.
